The Yak Bar Himalayan Dog Chew is a tasty, long-lasting dog chew now available that is a variant of the 100% natural, smoked cheese delicacy enjoyed in the Himalayas.
Yak Snacks are made from yak and cow milk sourced from local farmers in the Himalayan region under fair trade conditions and turned into chews using traditional methods, making them a healthy, low-fat alternative chew.

The original smoked cheese has been enjoyed by the people of the Himalayas for centuries, your dog is sure to enjoy this chew!

TIP - When the yak bar is chewed down to very small, pop it into the microwave and watch it puff up to make a soft crunchy cheese ball for your dog.

Ingredients

Constituents (per 100g): Crude protein 62.4%, Crude oils and fats 18%, Crude fibre less than 1%, Crude ash 5.3%, Moisture 10.2%.

A mix of skimmed Yak and Cow milk. A very small amount of lime juice and salt is added to coagulate (harden) the milk, smoke-dried for 28 days to give the chews their unique flavour.

Feeding/Storage

Allow your dog to chew and enjoy the very tasty Yak chew bar, they are longer-lasting,  when it is chewed down to a small size, if you pop it into your microwave, allow it to cool, it becomes a large crispy cheese puff for your dog to enjoy.

Always have water available when your feeding any snack.

Delivery

DPD courier service, with full tracking.
90% of our orders arrive on a next day service, however If you are in remote part of UK, Northern Island or the Islands, it is a two-day service.
 
Orders over £75 is free delivery, under £75 there is a charge of £5.95.  Remote areas of the Uk has an additional cost.

Orders placed before 2.30pm on Mon, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, leave us same day.
 
Orders placed on Thursday after 2.00pm, Fridays, Saturday and Sundays, leave us on Monday. At busy times, we do sometimes ship on Sundays.
 
Any frozen goods are good in transit (due to our packaging) for 72 hours.  The rule of thumb on frozen items is below: -
 
 1. If your food is cold to touch but started to defrost, please freeze.
 2. If your food is warm and fully defrosted (very unusual) please contact us for replacement and send a video of defrosted meals as this means a claim to the courier.
 
Our couriers will send you tracking with a one-hour window slot, also you can ask them to leave in a safe place or change the delivery time, this is all done between you and the courier service via DPD app. Please note frozen goods have to be left and cannot be undelivered, so it is important to state a safe place on the DPD App.
