Product Description
Our Meat Feast Cold Pressed working dog food, with added Turmeric creates a delicious natural diet with the convenience of complete dry food. It’s as close to raw feeding as possible and is suitable to feed alongside a raw diet or as a complete meal on its own. It is a multi-protein food, Turkey, Duck, Beef, and Fish, and using multi proteins is recommended as there are nutritional benefits in all different proteins.
Benefits - Feeding a Multi Protein Recipe
Not all protein is created equal and every protein contains different levels of amino acids. Your pet cannot produce all the amino acids they need on its own, so they need to get some from its food.
It is advisable never to stick with feeding just one protein source, but if your dog does not have allergies, then using a mixed protein recipe is perfect. Fussy dogs love the taste and you benefit from all the different vitamins and minerals that different proteins bring.
Our Multi Protein consists of Turkey, Duck, Fish & Beef and its packs all the vitamins and minerals these proteins bring.
Why Sweet Potato?
Sweet potatoes are one of the best dietary sources of vitamin A, which helps the digestive system function more effectively. Eating fiber on a regular basis lowers the risk of heart disease and certain types of cancers. Sweet potatoes are also a rich source of vitamins A, C, B6, potassium, calcium, and iron, just to name a few!
Ooddles Cold Pressed Dog Food is nutritionally dense which means you don't need to feed as much as you would a typical kibble or raw diet, so do check the cold-pressed feeding guide below.
Our cold pressed dog food is made by carefully mixing the finest ingredients together, before pressing them at low temperatures between 42°C - 47 °C for a few seconds.
These lower temperatures help to preserve the heat sensitive enzymes, fibres and all the natural aromas, flavours within the ingredients, producing a food with greater digestibility and nutritional value.
What You Need To Know About Cold Pressed.
It’s a dry, minimally processed alternative to a typical dry kibble food. The shape is more like pellets.
Ingredients are gently pressed at low temperatures.
Gently pressed and not hard-pressed , it's much quicker for your dog to digest in its stomach. Cold-pressed breaks down very quickly. You can even add a few tablespoons of warm water to cold-pressed to turn it into a paste - perfect for adding to Kong’s, Lickimats or to make a little gravy.
If you are feeding raw, many people ask can I add some kibble to raw? As kibble breaks down at a different rate to raw it is advisable not to, however, cold-pressed breaks down at the same speed as raw, so you can add cold-pressed to raw if you wish.
Please check the feeding guides as you feed up to 30% less cold-pressed as conventional dry dog food. 1 x 5kg bag will last longer than most 10 kg bags of regular dry food.
You can also add Cold Food To Ooddles Wet Food (not just raw food)
If you have a fussy eater, cold-pressed has a different texture and may work well for you.

Common Question? The Difference Between Ooddles Cold Pressed Food and Ooddles Premium Dry Food.
Cold Pressed is a pellet shape, and if you have a young pup, adding warm water it goes to a mush really quickly.
If you feed a raw diet, and want to add some crunch, it should be cold pressed food as it digests at the same speed, but it can be fed on its own as it is a "complete and balanced" food or you can add it to our wet food as well.
It is 52% protein, rest comes from sweet potato, fruits and veggies.
The food is dense, so you feed less per day, ie lower volume.
It is important not to overfeed when using Cold Pressed Food.
Cold Pressed is cooked at between 42°C - 47 °C for a few seconds.
Ooddles Premium Dry Foods - are higher in protein, from as high as 80% protein to the lowest one which is 60% protein.
